We pass by the Port Pesquer (fishing port), the beaches of Canyelles Petites and L’Almadrava, to reach the Punta Falconera, the start of the Cap de Creus Nature Park, continuing along the Lladó, Murtra, Montjoi and Pelosa coves.
The Cap Norfeu is an integral nature reserve, both terrestrial and marine. It forms part of the Cap de Creus Nature Park and is one of the most beautiful places in the Catalan coast. It has great botanical wealth, the most common trees being pine and holm oak, and it has with numerous species of birds and aquatic animals, seeming to hold a special attraction for whales and dolphins.
When we reach the Cala Pelosa, the catamaran makes a half-turn and we travel to Cala Murtra, which since 2009 has held the EMAS European environmental certificate and the ISO 14001 international certificate of environmental management, confirming the quality of its waters and the surroundings for its visitors’ enjoyment. In Cala Murtra we go down to the catamaran’s viewing pods to admire this marvellous seabed. When everyone has finished viewing, we will anchor in the cove to allow anyone who wants to swim in these turquoise-coloured waters. The AQUARIUM II catamaran has two large slides to make this 40-minute swim an unforgettable fun experience.
